Corporate Museum
This onsite, corporate museum provides facility visitors the opportunity to discover and appreciate the history of Faro’s technological developments. A central island display conveys the mission and core values that are key to FARO’s success in addition to the latest product developments. Utilizing a timeline treatment to communicate the history of FARO, vignettes of specific time periods are created using color coded graphics. Illuminated floor panels add to the striking three-dimensional wall design which utilizes a variety of finishes and treatments to create layered approach to product and graphic display and mounting. Additional treatments included cable and wire graphic display to share product application stories and important patents.
Celebrating 30 years of innovation, FARO was featured on American Chopper: Senior vs Junior. One of their valued customers, Paul Jr. Designs, built a FARO-themed chopper. A small alcove off the main museum was developed to showcase the bike and the 30 year milestone. While some of the same materials were used for consistency in this area as in the main section, diamond plate finishes, etched graphics with uplighting, mural graphics and a faux road were added to give the display an innovative edge.
